The Hills which are situated on the top of the highest point of Co. Meath in the Boyne Valley are the ancient tombs of Loughcrew, some are decorated with rare megalithic art. It is one of the four main passage tomb cemeteries in Ireland. There are remains of more than twenty ancient tombs at Loughcrew. The green landscape is a vivid green wool with various sized tombs scattered across the surface. The tombs are raised areas outlined with various embroidery stitch, french knots and stitches representing the various stages of erosion from the elements.
